Job Description 

The role is to provide front line clinical leadership to all the Cath Lab nursing team, during diagnostic investigations and invasive procedures for both NHS and Private patients, ensuring high levels of professional care are provided.

• Assesses, plans and implements programmes of care during investigations and procedures, allocating roles to other nursing staff
• Recognise life-threatening arrhythmias and summon assistance in emergency situations
• Perform and interpret ECGs
• Perform venepuncture and cannulation
• ILS trained and aspire to ALS training and teaching / assessing for ILS
• Scrub for patients undergoing cardiac catheterisation, EP, pacemaker implantation and PCI.
