JP Medicals Recruitment, a leading NHS healthcare recruitment agency is currently recruiting a dedicated Surgical First Assistant (SFA), who has NMC or HCPC registration to work in regular and flexible shifts at The Harbour Hospital, Poole, Dorset.
Job Description
Supporting in assessing patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload
Promoting best practice and contributing towards quality improvements
- Acting as an SFA across a heavy caseload of general, gynaecology and bariatric surgery
- Working as a Scrub Practitioner across various specialities.

Requirements of Surgical First Assistant Job in Dorset
- Proven experience as a Surgical First Assistant
- A minimum of 6 months experience in the NHS
- A valid NMC/HCPC registration with rights to work in the UK
- BSc or diploma from a nursing program
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures & willingness to follow them at all times
